P.A.S.S. Academy is the premier player development academy in Essex, widely recognised as a genuine pathway toward professional football. Operating for over 17 years, the Academy is invitation only and is built around one clear objective: to develop, challenge and progress talented players in a professional, performance-driven environment.

The Academy programme places player development at its core. Training is structured by age group and focuses on advanced technical development, tactical understanding and competitive match play. Sessions are demanding, purposeful and reflective of the modern game. Players are continually assessed across both technical and physical areas to ensure they are supported, challenged and guided toward reaching their full potential.

P.A.S.S. Academy teams regularly compete against professional club academies, providing players with invaluable experience against elite opposition. This exposure is further enhanced through the Academy’s annual European tour, where players test themselves on an international stage. A key highlight of the academy calendar is the Hageland Cup in Belgium, a prestigious tournament that P.A.S.S. attends every year. Competing annually at the Hageland Cup for the past ten years gives players the opportunity to experience high-level European football, adapt to different styles of play and perform under pressure in a professional tournament setting. Success on the international stage reflects the strength of the programme, with P.A.S.S. Academy teams having won eight overseas tournaments to date. In addition to competitive fixtures and tours, the academy also delivers advanced training camps designed to further accelerate development.

Player progression is supported by a strong and established scouting network. Scouts regularly observe both current academy players and potential new recruits as part of the ongoing recruitment and identification process. This ensures that talented players are exposed to opportunities at higher levels of the game.

To date, over 150 P.A.S.S. Academy players have signed for professional clubs, with eleven players representing their country at youth international level. This record is a direct reflection of the Academy’s high standards, its long-standing commitment to excellence and the quality of its coaching and scouting systems, which are continually reviewed and refined.
